RSS makes it possible to collect news and information from a variety of sources. It’s a way of using an Internet publishing standard to make content published online easily disseminated, or syndicated. Content in the RSS format is accessible to programs which quite literally fetch the information and deliver it to your desktop. RSS has several meanings, but the most common is Really Simple Syndication.

Subscribe When you access content that is contained in an RSS feed, through a newsreader or aggregator, it's called subscribing. Subscribing to a feed can be done several ways. Simply click on the orange "XML" button and then copy and past the URL from that page into the appropriate box on your aggregator or reader. If you’re using another program to access feeds, like Yahoo’s My Yahoo!, then simply click on that button and the feed is added automatically to your list.
